I will overwhelm 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming boxing match.

Former two time world title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Mindset

"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial paydays.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for 2026.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Difference

As both boxers engaged in the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really happening.
